First bookings for The Point

Conference organiser NB Medical Education has confirmed it will hold its ‘Hot Topics’ course for GPs at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s new £12m conference facility, The Point, in September.

“Although still under construction, the information we’ve seen and the facilities the venue will have to offer was the deciding factor for us to [bring the event] to Old Trafford,” course co-founder Dr Simon Curtis said.

The glass-fronted, 1,000 capacity suite overlooking the pitch at Old Trafford is due for completion in June.
