Michelin chefs partner with Royal Ascot
Ascot Racecourse has teamed up with Michel and Alain Roux to create ‘The Waterside Inn at the Panoramic’ during the Royal Meeting in June.
Guests at the Panoramic restaurant, situated at the top of the state of the art new grandstand, will enjoy a signature menu created by the renowned father and son team.
“I am excited to work with Ascot Hospitality which is renowned for its excellence,” Michel Roux said. “I have been a regular visitor to the racecourse during Royal Ascot week since taking the helm of the Waterside Inn in 1972. We share the same patrons so it’s a perfect blend, and of course the racecourse is only a stone’s throw from Bray.”
Other track side options include the new Sandringham Restaurant, next to the Royal Enclosure Garden, with private terrace, and the exclusive Parade Ring Restaurant overlooking the Winners’ Enclosure.
Executive chef Steve Golding has created individual menus across the various tiers of hospitality, from exquisite fine dining to luxury hampers, with sustainable and locally sourced ingredients to the fore.
“Food and entertainment trends are constantly changing, and we strive to be more creative and innovative each year to ensure our diners have a choice,” Gary England, director of Ascot Hospitality, said. “Our aim is to deliver the finest food offered at any racecourse.”
