New Purple Guide

The Events Industry Forum (EIF) is working with the HSE to rewrite the Event Safety Guide (‘Pop Code’).

Focusing on health and safety at events, EIF will produce additional guidance where required, bringing everything together on one website as a ‘virtual’ guide to event organisation.

The structure of the document is expected to remain much the same as the previous Purple Guide, with working groups drafting the various sections.

In an effort to make the process as transparent as possible, progress reports and drafts of each chapter will be available for comment via the EIF website.
