Kudos Cafes wins Royal Leamington Spa contract
Kudos Cafes, part of the Crown Group, has secured a prestigious contract with Warwick District Council to provide food and venue management services at four of Royal Leamington Spa’s most popular venues, in a deal potentially worth £12million in total turnover.
As part of the contract, the company has revitalised the food offer at ‘Restaurant in the Park’, now called Jephson’s Brasserie, and The Aviary Cafe, both located in the award-winning Jephson Gardens; as well as the nearby Royal Pump Rooms, which is a popular local visitor attraction.
As part of the deal, which will run until 2018 with the option of a six year extension, Kudos Cafes has invested in new kitchen equipment to enable its team of experts to prepare freshly made food on site, using local produce wherever possible.
Jephson’s Brasserie and the Royal Pump Rooms will also be available for exclusive hire for events ranging from small functions to large weddings for up to 200 people.
Dale Wild, managing director, Kudos Cafes, said: “The four venues are all incredibly unique in their own right, and we have worked hard to develop menus that suit their flexible nature.
“This contract win is testament to the great work that has gone into developing our offer and I am very proud to add this prestigious client to our portfolio.”
Cllr Sue Gallagher, Portfolio Holder for Culture said: "Warwick District Council is delighted to be working in partnership with Kudos Cafes as they work to raise the profile of the Royal Pump Rooms and Jephson’s Brasserie and put them on the map for local people and visitors to enjoy quality food and events in unique venues in Leamington Spa. The reintroduction of a catering service at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre is long overdue and we hope will be welcomed by customers."
